Newbies should watch The Star Wars saga in this order:
4 - A New Hope (Still the perfect introduction
to the Star Wars universe)
5 - The Empire Strikes Back (Ben lied? Vader is Luke's father? What is going on?)

- The Phantom Menace (Like "The Magician's Nephew", or the tales told in "Watership Down" or "The Lord of the Rings", we now
flash back to events prior to the beginning of the story. We see Anakin as a young boy, and his journey to the stars)

- Attack of the Clones (Anakin falls in love, just as he is tempted by the Dark Side and overwhelmed by his dumbass teenager
emotions)
3 - Revenge of the Sith (We see the fall of Anakin, we learn who "the other" is, we see how the Emperor
can twist you in emotional knots, we see the destruction of the Jedi)
6 - Return of the Jedi (We flash forward to
the present. With the raw emotions of "ROTS" in our head, we watch the struggle of Luke and Vader and the Emperor, with pit
stops on Dagobah and Endor along the way. The climax on the Death Star II takes on incredible weight, as Luke is tempted to
join the Dark Side to save friends and family member, just as Anakin was many years prior -- the setting eerily familiar to
the Anakin/Dooku duel at the beginning of ROTS... then we see the atonement of the Chosen One, who becomes a Jedi again by
accepting his own death, sacrificing himself and laying down his own life and losing everything for the greater good, just
as his son did, just as Obi-Wan did. Anakin Skywalker returns.)
