Need a female TORCHWOOD member!
Mood:  irritated

Need a woman to portray a TORCHWOOD member in my DW film! If you're at Dragon*Con '09 or in Orlando next year, I need you!!

The one I chose (again) is no longer working with me, and I sincerely doubt will contact me.  Hell, I have a hard enough time getting people I worked with on the TV show, Solid Ground, to reprise their characters in the film again!

I thought it was interesting when she called me Tom the last time I saw her.  Should have guessed it was good-bye.  May her a-hole, drunken bastard of a husband burn in hell for what he did to her.

Anyway, going again with "3rd times a charm", and hoping to find that right somebody to just film a short scene with (detailed more in the novelization).

STILL hoping to film with some others and receive footage from another!

Disappointing day
Mood:  crushed out

I thought I was gonna film today, BUT, there was a FRICKIN' wind advisory today, and it was 15-25 mph winds goin' on!  My one friend from the TV show showed up (not the other).  Soooo, couldn't film basically 'cause it was just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too windy, and it would have been nice to film the larger scene, but, another time.  I hope.

Bought some new black slacks for my outfit.  For some reason, my black slacks weren't "black" when I got outside, but DID turn black as we walked around outside, then into the stores. So weird!!!

Other filming locales
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: More filming locales and stuff
I keep forgetting I will be at Rock City and Chattanooga Choo-Choo for 2 scenes, 1 in the stairwell at a museum, 2 at a local park, then back to ORLANDO!

There, I will be at the park in Orlando, maybe the public library IF I can get 2 friends to film, waiting for 1 friend in England to film her scene (as she knows, but, there is time), 2 in Lakeland (same place), and the rest in Lake Mary (TARDIS control room, living room (to kill all the club members; it's still a GoG film, even if the 2nd film is STILL NOT COMPLETED), and an olde cemetery (just not in the tall grass, as I don't want to risk the chiggers getting under our skin).

I think that's it. I have to get the script together again when I move back... in April.

I know what has to be done here, and when I get back, see old locales, maybe throw in another shot here and there. So, if you're around and want to be in a DW fan film....

After all that, try to bribe my TV producer here to work on this one, re-shoot a scene with a friend to replace another who did what I didn't want her to do (and edit this one), and lastly my 1st film, at the same time even with another, and then, all 3 of my films will be done! I will sell them to fans (get the specific copyrights down), and I know I won't make money off of these (or what I spent on them), but it's for me and the fans, that's all.

I will then get back to writing ALL the stories, re-writes I keep planning on, and be content that it's all over!!!

Some filming
Mood:  chatty

Well, I was planning to film actually 5 scenes today, but, the weather was cloudy, cold, and gloomy.

I dragged my friend, Ryan McCarty (Solid Ground) to a little area near another location for the last 2 scenes.  It was fine to film there, even with all the cars going by, as it was just to show off our looks (photos on MySpace, and eventually on my other photo galleries).

Then, we shaved our goatees, and made it out to the Air Force Museum to meet our other friend, Dez (Solid Ground).  We walked around, and felt it wasn't too good to film inside, though I have done before, but for SOME REASON, it was FULL OF PEOPLE!  WTF?!

So, as we walked outside, in the coool air, we got to a small gazebo (which I pondered the other day), and thought to just get it done there!

Short scene to tie-in what I did inside the museum before hand, to set the stage for the other scenes, and that's finally done.

Afterwards, a nice time at Applebee's, talking about things, and I know that one day next month (a Sunday), with either the 3 of us (or 4, I can only wonder), finish those last 2 scenes (getting the 1 other one done sometime sooner in a secret for now location), and 1 tonight before I go to sleep.  The rest, all done in Central Fl.

From there, watch the 1st film to get the edit times down (then have my editor work on it), re-shoot scene 1 of the 2nd film (and get help re-editing the film w/ some music), then see about paying SG TV producer to edit the 3rd film.

After all that, work, sell my stuff, write my stories.

This is all for me first, then friends, then fans.  It's all to prove to myself that I can get this done, no matter how it may come out, opinions, and so forth.  It's for me to show that I have accomplished something, and of course, pushing again for the 2nd GoG film to be finished before our 1st GoG Dr dies!  He told me that.  It's been... 13 years now!!!

Am I that boring?
Mood:  irritated

I only got 10 views on my last blog on MySpace.  OK, then how's this:

I want to film in the old cemetery again! Otherwise, it's a park that I used while filming my 1st film. Less likely to get chiggers too!

I will be filming along next week, hope to film with another (and a camera operator) next week, and hopefully with the other 2 actors from the TV show I was on the week after that!

I will be in Rock City on March 16th for filming, then off to Chattanooga Choo-Choo for another that same day!

When I do get back home to Orlando say... April, I will take my time to finish the rest of filming, but, I will need an editor/producer, unless I can bribe the TV producer (gonna try)!

I plan to release my 3 films on DVD in 2010!

I will also begin writing again when I get back to Orlando.  I figured out how an action figure (that represents a character in a story) will now fit in an older story set in New Orleans, whom the character is, and how the whole wibbley-wobbley, Timey-wimey thing works for me.  Kinda.

At least I can say I am trying, even though things keep falling apart right now...

More ideas!!!
Mood:  caffeinated

I figured out that I want to film one scene in the "resturant" area of The Air Force Museum, as I would have a camera operator that time as well!

So, there is a small area a few feet away from where I will re-film and do another shoot at near where I live, so that's a small scene, new outfit, and goatee!

I will then shave, change my outfit, and re-shoot my one scene, then the new scene (with or without another character).  It's either 2 or 3 of us.  Either way, 3 or 4 of us go to lunch.

If my 4th friend wants to join in lunch, that's cool, but, I need her and the other 2 guys at the museum.  We film her and I first, then I film the other 2.

I will re-shoot the computer scene from now 'til early March.  It's cleaning off my desk, making more B&W pictures, doing a slideshow on the computer, and making enough room (as I do need to continue packing EVERY SINGLE DAY!) so I can put the tripod behind me.

In March, I will be going to Rock City and then Chattanoogaa Choo-Choo!  I'll have someone film me in both places, 2 outfits, and that will be it for Georgia!

When I get back to Orlando, I have a 1-2 shoots in Lakeland (as well as my friend retrieving pictures and software from my crashed hard drive another time).  1 in Lake Eola Park.  1 in front of Orlando Fashion Square, as I doubt I'll be going to FX2009, as I'll be moving at that time in April.  The rest of the filming will be in Lake Mary at The GoG's Lady President's house and backyard/vacant lot 2 doors down.  I don't want to press my luck by trying to film at the old cemetery again (like I used to), ESPECIALLY with the chiggers getting under the skin!!!!  Mainly it's not getting caught, as there is a lot more filming this time around!  Although, the setting in the novelization will probably be set in a cemetery!!  I still have footage from the old films I said I would re-use!

Filming postponed... again!
Mood:  irritated

It is supposed to be EXTREMELY COLD outside today, and with one of the actors having to grow facial hair for his play, AND I found out another can't make it, even after he said he could, I'm going to have to postpone these now LAST scenes in GA 'til after Feb 21st!

I hope to get another scene done as soon as my friend is getting over the flu, but I'm thinkin' of doing another scene planned very soon, as I have to pack up everything, and I should have a little more room as well to do it!  Need to get the pictures ready as well....

I still have to dye my hair, shave, and learn my lines (I can write, but to remember anymore).

The scenes in the park will be a partial re-do of my one scene in the gazebo, and at the same place a scene with me, one friend, and HOPEFULLY another, as the movie is set to take place in 1 day!

The other scene is at the Air Force Museum with 2 friends that is set before the 1st park scene.

The scene with another friend is sadly shortened and the rest is novelized, but at least I would have her in the scene to make the established shot!

Lastly, it would be me filming a scene in my den, camera running, photos all over the desk, and so forth.

When I get back to Orlando, I'll have to do the rest, but not back-to-back in 2-3 days!

I am planning to get this (and watching the 1st and 2nd films), HOPEFULLY get someone's help to edit them all, get them on DVD, and sell it in 2010!

Well, that's all I got so far, besides what's on the DW website.

 Thank you for stopping by!

Thinkin'
Mood:  a-ok

I was trying to get a hotel room for one scene that I wanted to put back into the film, but with the costs, I decided to just film OUTSIDE of a hotel, but, I need my co-worker to get pumped to do it (next month, I hope).

I decided to change some other characters around, give one character to another friend (have to go back and re-work Identity Crisis, both in the novella and then mentioning at the very end of filming I did change things), and brought back another character, adding more details, but, I can't get a hold of her either, and she's a (novelized) character for the E&R!

I did go back to the Air Force Museum and re-did the shot for the intro (which took a couple of takes), but really nice!!!

I just need to get the Georgia shots done (outside of hotel, den w/ photos, park again w/ backlight set on the camera), then the rest back in Central Florida (either April or later, based on my final move back).

It was not a (huge) mistake coming here, especially since I got to be on TV and so forth, finding Star Wars toys sooner and easier (no scavengers), the deals I got with stores closing down (and the debt returning), and the outlining locations are great, but, it's time for me to go home.

I would hope for the DVD of all 3 films be released this year, but, I need a producer, and I doubt the TV producer will do so.  Yeah, another reason why I loose faith in people.

I'm going for a 2010 release (2 years before the end).

More when I get more filming done (soon, I hope)!!!!

Filming today
Mood:  chillin'

I went to the Air Force museum and did a couple of shots (not what I really wanted, needed close-up shots, but at least I got what I wanted.  Need one more outside shot), drove down to Andersonville, and did a couple of shots there as well (again, no close-ups).

I need to do one more scene at the park near me (with the backlight on), another re-shoot at home, and somehow the hotel room scene????

At least I got some filming done today.  I have to figure out when to get back to Orlando, and do the rest....

I went to a D*C party....
Mood:  down
For me, D*C wasn't great. I hate large crowds, as people don't know what to do! This is not a con for kids, or people that need those motorized vehicles as they are too large to walk! There is A LOT of walking within the 4 hotels, and there is no room to walk as it is in the dealers rooms!

If I didn't follow the heard of sheep, I wouldn't have walked all the way around the other way, and would have saved 10 min to getting to the hotel I was going too! First time I've parked my car in Atlanta!

So, as I walked, then waited, talked to a couple of friends on the phone, wishing I could have seen some friends, and being dragged to a panel of how to speak Elvish (and it wasn't even prepared correctly, which bothered me the most, next to people that don't know how to GET OUT OF THE WAY WHEN I'M TRYING TO SEE WHAT THE DEALERS HAVE TO SELL, besides the overpriced items)....

Anyway, someone who was "so eager" to be in the film (even sent me the missing lines to the script after asking me which one) never returned my calls during D*C, so the scene was cancelled!

I got the other scene done (not specifically/visually acurate; he forgot his suit, but I need him in the scene), and additional co-directing from my best friend of almost 20 years (I can say that I've become more proud of him over time, especially since he's gone to college and is trying to improve after all these years, though he could NOT fit into in vest, so he has to work on THAT as well! He's not going to read this, so I can say I'm proud of him!), I got what was necessary.

As for the missing scene that I was willing to cut down as well just to include them in the film (I knew her daughter didn't care about it anyway), this is going even more specific, as this scene can't be filmed until I get back to Orlando next year, and would involve a hotel room....

The scene is where my character and a female (both from TORCHWOOD) arrive at the hotel room of a former companion of The Doctor. The scene is very short, yet important to the story (it's in the written, and enough is mentioned in the film, but would be nice to do).

If there was a convention in Orlando at the time, hence anyone traveling there (FX, Orlanddo Comic-Con, Hurricane WHO) and of course I'm down there, or anyone in the Orlando area, that would be great!

Back to D*C. So, I did get my birthday presents (yeah, he hasn't seen me since MegaCon which was a waste of time for me, not knowing that I couldn't trust an actor from Troma Films) and they are VERY NICE, got to do the bit of filming, saw a couple of other friends (one is now ADDICTED to Dr WHO; now only if his wife would as well, especially since she's my 1st female Dr in my stories), it could have been A WHOLE LOT BETTER! Thank goodness I didn't pay to get in (just parking, gas, lot of sweating), but it was worth the 2 hour drive to see the few friends I did. Well, yeah.

As for what's left, 3-4 more scenes left in GA. 1 in my den, one in Andersonville (which is more like 2, but it's all in the same area), re-do of the park scene (with the backlight button on; with or without a cameraman), and the Air Force Museum. That, I have to see. I need two actors from Solid Ground, but one is having problems, and the other is not responding.

Orlando will have the remaining scenes:

One at an undisclosed location, one at Lake Eola, some in a wooded area, and of course, in The TARDIS control room!!!!!

I have a new epilogue to replace the 3rd one, and I await one from my gal pal in England (awesome)!

I just have to watch it all and get the time codes down for editing. Then, I have to see if my TV editor will do it or not. I also have the 1st two films that need work and touch-ups as well.

Something to look forward to in Orlando, as I'll be more pumped to do it all....
